I installed and configured gps around 5/1 and it worked great for a couple of days. Now it is becoming more and more problematic. it will run for awhile and then will completely hang the server (os x 10.4.9 PPC). below is a representative trace of what happens.

when this happens I cannot log into the machine via network or console.
